Titans shopping 5th pick

Titans shopping 5th pick … A year after masterfully moving around the board, Tennessee G.M. Jon Robinson says the team is open to trading down again this year. Speaking at his combine presser, Robinson said that “we’re open for business and willing to have discussions. We’re just trying to put ourselves in position to improve the football team.” Last year, the Titans dealt the #1 pick overall to the LA Rams for the 15th and then moved back up to #8 in a deal with Cleveland that netted Tennessee OT Jack Conklin who ended up making the Pro Bowl as a rookie. The Titans also ended up with extra picks in the 3rd and fifth rounds this year, but don’t have a second rounder and it appears that that is the pick that Robinson would like to replace heading into this April’s draft. In fact, Robinson says he has had preliminary talks with ‘several’ teams but doesn’t expect much to happen before the draft. Stay tuned!
