Titans add long-time NFL exec to front-office staff … Tennessee has announced that veteran NFL executive Dave Gardi has been hired as the team’s new executive VP of football ops. He replaces Chad Brinker in that role in which he will oversee the departments of football administration, strategy, analytics, research, information systems, video, equipment, team operations and security. He will report directly to Titans GM Mike Borgonzi. Gardi spent the last couple of seasons as senior VP in Washington after spending over 20 years working for the NFL league office which included a 10-year stint as the league’s senior vice president of football operations.
