Tide’s Henry, NT Robinson enter draft … Alabama juniors Derrick Henry, the RB who won this year’s Heisman Trophy, and NT A’Shawn Robinson, both announced they will forego their senior seasons and enter the 2016 draft, at a joint press conference at the school this afternoon. Henry is projected to be a second round pick, while Robinson currently has a top 10-20 grade. At the same time, though, TE O.J. Howard and DE Jon Allen did announce their decisions. The deadline for underclassmen to declare their intentions for the 2016 draft is Monday, January 18th. And it seems fitting somehow that the Heisman Trophy winner from the national champions would push the number of underclassmen who have announced in one way or another that they will be entering this year’s draft to over 100; in fact, the figure now stands at 101, obviously with reach of the all-time record of 104 in 2014.
