Three juniors enter draft; one staying

Three juniors enter draft; one staying … Three more juniors have announced that they will be foregoing their remaining college eligibility and entering the 2022 draft including Arizona State C Dohnovan West, Penn State OT Rasheed Walker and Ohio State RB Master Teague. West and Walker are both second day prospects for the upcoming draft with West ranked #65 overall on the GBN Big Board and Walker at #81. For his part, Teague is more a third-day type, but with the potential to go higher as he is a talented player who has been held back largely by injuries. On the other hand, Auburn junior LB Owen Pappoe has confirmed that he will be back at school for his senior season next fall after playing in just 5 games in 2021 because of injuries. Pappoe, in fact, is the third Auburn defensive star to opt to return to school in 2022 joining DEs Derick Hall and Colby Wooden on what could be a very good Tiger defense next fall. And in a non-draft related note from college football, Oklahoma freshman QB Caleb Williams, who beat out Spencer Rattler for the Sooners’ starting job mid-way thru the season, has put his name into the transfer portal. It is still possible that he will stay at OU, but wants to at least talk to some other schools and can only do that legally if he is actually in the portal.
