That’s a wrap; on to pro days … The 2023 scouting combine wrapped up within the last hour in Indianapolis. And the early returns appear to be that far more guys helped themselves with their performances this weekend than were hurt. Certainly, there’s still plenty to chew over based on what we saw in Indianapolis. However, there won’t be much rest for personnel departments around the league as they will now be hitting the road for the annual pro day circuit which gets underway next week. Indeed, the first pro days are scheduled for Tuesday at Indiana and Southern Utah. Here is the full schedule as we have it at this time. It includes a March 15th date at national champion Georgia, while Michigan goes on the 17th, Oho State on the 22nd and Alabama on the 23rd. Its also Interesting to note that whereas in the past the busiest weeks on the pro day schedule were the 2nd and 3rd weeks of March; in contrast, the busiest week by far this year appears to be the last week in March. On the 29th, for example, LSU and Notre Dame will hold their pro days, along with at least a half dozen other major programs, while Tennessee, Oklahoma, Florida and TCU will highlight the program on the 30th.
