Tech QB Sorsby being investigated for gambling issues … The NCAA is reportedly investigating Texas Tech QB Brendan Sorsby, one of college football’s top returning players who has emerged as potentially one of the top 4-5 prospects at the position for the 2027 draft, for gambling on pro and college sports which is not allowed by college athletes. For his part, Sorsby has not denied the allegations, but rather has checked himself into a residential treatment program for a gambling addiction. Sorsby played last fall at Cincinnati but transferred this winter to Texas Tech.
