TE 40 times … The TEs were the first group to run their 40s at the scouting combine in Indianapolis this afternoon. Unfortunately, though, most of the top guys that the NFL was hoping to see including Trey McBride of Colorado State, Texas A&M’s Jalen Wydermyer, Isaiah Liklely of Coastal Carolina, Iowa State’s Charlie Kolar and Cade Otton of Washington chose not to run today. Of those that did run, maybe the guy who did the most for his status was UCLA’s Greg Dulcich, who figures to in the mix among the top 5 TEs this year; he ran a 4.61, as did Virginia’s Jalani Woods, while San Diego State’s Dan Bellinger and Grant Calcatterra of SMU posted 4.63s. The fastest TE running today, though, was somewhat unheralded Chiq Okonkwo of Maryland who posted a 4.52 clocking. Here are the unofficial times for the TEs.
