These have not been great days for the Orange football program, but they had a little ray of sunshine at their pro day earlier today as CB Ifeatu Melifonwu had a solid performance. No question that Melifonwu has the length teams are looking for in a top cover corner as he measured in at 6-2.5 and 205 pounds with 32-inch arms. Melifonwu also tested well with a 40-time in the 4.5 range, that included a very quick 10-yard split of 1.50 seconds. He also posted explosive leaps of 41.5-inches in the vertical and 11-2 in the long jump. And for a tall guy, Melifonwu showed some agility in the 3-cone drill posting a time of 7.01 seconds, athough his short shuttle run of 4.34 seconds was relatively slower.
