Supp draft set for July 10th

June 24, 2019

Supp draft set for July 10th … The NFL’s annual summer supplemental draft has reportedly been set for July 10th. So far two players – West Virginia WR Marcus Simms and Syracuse LB Shy Cullen – have applied for this year’s supp draft. Unlike the regular draft, if a team is interested in a player they submit a bid indicating which round they would take the player. If more than one team bids on a player in the lowest round, the player is awarded to the team with the higher (est) pick in the regular 2019 draft order. If a player is awarded to a team in the supplemental draft, that team forfeits its pick in that round in the 2020 draft.
