Steelers extend GM Colbert thru 2010 … Pittsburgh has signed G.M. Kevin Colbert to a two-year contract extension that runs through the 2020 football year. Colbert has been with the Steelers since 2000 when he joined the organization as director of football operations; he has been the team’s G.M. since 2011. During his tenure in Pittsburgh, the Steelers have been a model franchise winning two Super Bowls and qualifying for the playoffs 11 times.
