Senior Bowl announces first accepted invites … With the 2021 college football season starting to wind down, the Senior Bowl has released the names of the first batch of players to have accepted invitations to this year’s game scheduled for February 5th in Mobile. In fact, the early list actually includes 33 players, most of whom would be considered later round prospects. However, the first group of accepted invites also includes several players who have been getting at least some first-round buzz including Utah LB Devin Lloyd, Penn State ER Arnold Ebeketie and Northern Iowa OT Trevor Penning. The list also includes only one QB, Bailey Zappe of Western Kentucky, who isn’t all that well known nationally, but he actually currently leads FBS football in passing with almost 420 yards per game and 42 TDs.
