Senior Bowl adds three more to 2020 roster … The Reese’s Senior Bowl staff have announced via twitter that three more players have accepted invitations to this year’s game including Purdue TE Brycen Hopkins, Liberty WR Antonio Gandy-Golden and Lenoir-Rhyne SS Kyle Dugger. Hopkins, who is listed at 6-5, 245, has 111 career receptions including 42 thru 9 games this fall. Over his career, the athletic Hopkins has averaged almost 15 yards per catch while scoring 12 TDs; he is currently the 3rd ranked TE on the GBN positional ranking. Gandy-Golden is another underrated big play receiving threat who will be in Mobile in January. The 6-3, 220-pound Gandy-Golden has averaged over 20 yards per catch this fall during which he has already surpassed the 1,000-yard mark for the third straight year; he is also currently the 11th ranked WR on the GBN positional ranking as #83 on the overall GBN Big Board. Meanwhile, Dugger is an interesting lower-level prospect. Indeed, he is the only DII player currently invited to this year’s Senior Bowl. Dugger is a physical 220-pounder with 237 career tackles. However, while he’s a big guy, he can also run and make plays in space. Dugger has 10 career interceptions and 36 total pass breakups; plus he’s been a dynamic punt returner with a 15 yard per return average and 6 career TD returns. Dugger is currently listed as the 28th safety on the GBN positional ranking.
