Saban out with covid

SEC takes another covid hit; Saban out … For those that hadn’t heard, Alabama head coach Nick Saban, one of the most successful coaches in college football history, will miss Saturday’s big SEC clash between his 2nd ranked Tide and 3rd ranked Georgia after testing positive for covid-19. Fortunately, Saban reports he is asymptomatic so far, but he is an older guy at 68 so he’ll be watched closely. So far, it doesn’t appear as if the virus had spread to any of the players meaning the game itself is still on. Offensive co-ordinator Steve Sarkasian is expected to take over from Saban on the Tide’s sideline this weekend. The SEC has already postponed two games for this weekend, including another big game between LSU and Florida.
