Rich get richer draft

February 24, 2019

Draft order set; Patriots with most picks … Now that the NFL has announced the assignment of 32 compensatory picks for the 2019 draft, the full selection order is also now available for the full seven rounds. And in one of those the rich get richer scenarios, the team currently with the most picks this year is the Super Bowl champion New England which has 12 total picks, including 6 in the first three rounds which should give Bill Belichek and company more than enough ammo to work the board this coming April. Meanwhile, Arizona and Cincinnati both have 11 picks each, while Cleveland, Green Bay, Oakland/Vegas, Buffalo and the Giants each currently have ten picks. In fact, Oakland should end up being busiest team at least in the early going as the Raiders have 5 picks in the first three rounds including extra picks in the opening round acquired from Chicago (#24) and Dallas (#27) to go along with their #1 pick, the 4th overall. On the other hand, Seattle, with just 4 picks overall, and Chicago with 5, have the fewest picks, while Dallas, San Francisco, New Orleans, Tampa Bay, Tennessee and the Jets have just 6 picks each. Here is the full list of picks by team,
