Rams win Super; picks set … The city of Los Angeles finally has a Super Bowl champion as the Rams knocked off a game Cincinnati Bengals’ group 23-20 this evening to claim the 2021 title. The Rams, of course, have won the Super Bowl before, but when they were in St. Louis. And it was apropos that it was the guys who got the Rams to the big dance who came through with the big plays as Matt Stafford threw the game-winning TD pass to Cooper Kupp with less than 2 minutes to plat, while DT Aaron Donald had the sack that ended the Bengals’ final drive. At the same time, though, congratulations to Joe Burrow and the Bengals who went from last to first and then all the way to the Super Bowl. And with the Super Bowl in the books the selection order for the 2022 draft, now just 74 days away, has been set, at least for the first three rounds up to the comp picks. Cincinnati will have the 2nd to last pick in every round, while the Rams will technically have the 32nd and final regular pick in each round. However, the Rams will have to wait awhile to get to make one of those picks as they have traded away their first round pick to Detroit, their second to Denver and their third to Tennessee. Here is the updated selection order for the first three rounds.
