Raiders, Steelers sign top picks … Two more first-round picks from Alabama at the 2021 draft came to terms in the last day or so including Las Vegas which signed G/T Alex Leatherwood, the 17th player selected this year, and Pittsburgh which came to terms with RB Najee Harris, whom the Steelers chose with the 24th pick overall. Leatherwood, the 17th player selected this year, signed a 4-year deal worth $14.3M with a club option for a 5th year, while Harris gets $13.05 million, also over 4 years and also with a club option for a 5th. In fact, the Steelers actually signed their top two picks this year as they also came to terms with former Penn State TE pat Freiermuth, their second rounder last month. With the signings, the Steelers now have eight of their nine draft picks under contract with only former Illinois C/G Kendrick Green, the team’s third-round pick this year, still to go.
