QBs Mendoza, Simpson last unsigned 2026 #1s … Just two players selected in the opening round of the 2026 draft remain unsigned: QBs Fernando Mendoza, the first-player picked overall by Las Vegas and Ty Simpson whom the LA Raiders chose with the 13th pick. However, they are not the only unsigned players selected at this year’s draft as 14 players taken outside the first round have yet to come to terms. And all the unsigned players were selected early in the 3rd and 4th rounds as the players’ union is encouraging them to hold out for contract guarantees similar to those signed by rookies in the previous round.
