QB Lawrence tests positive … The world of college football is wobbling just a bit this evening with word that star Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence, the presumptive favorite to win this year’s Heisman Trophy as well be the #1 pick at the 2021 draft, has tested positive for COVID-19 and will miss Saturday’s game against Boston College. Lawrence is reportedly in isolation with what are described as ‘mild’ symptoms. The top-ranked Tigers can probably beat BC without their star QB, but Lawrence’s availability is now very much in question for next week’s ACC showdown with 3rd ranked Notre Dame. Stay tuned!
