QB Herbert; DT Kinlaw headline Pigskin’s all-Senior Bowl practice squad … Picking the best players from only three practice sessions at all all-srta game such as the Senior Bowl can be a tad daunting, but GBN Associate Editor Pigskin Paul Guillemette was up to the challenge as he has posted his star squad from this year’s practices after reviewing all his notes and related info. And its probably not a huge surprise that Oregon QB Justin Herbert and South Carolina DT Javon Kinlaw, the highest rated players in Mobile this week, headline Pigskin’s all-star which also included several other well-known prospects including WRs Michael Pittman of USC and Texas’ Collin Johnson and Houston OT Josh Jones, who may have had just about the best week of any player at this year’s Senior Bowl. Pigskin’s star team, though, also proves that no school is too small for the Senior Bowl as four non-FCS players made his elite 30 including OTs Ben Bartch of DIII St. John’s and Alex Taylor of South Carolina State, along with Lenoir-Rhyne SS Kyle Dugger and Dayton TE Adam Trautman. Now we’ll see if they all play as well in the actual game tomorrow.
