ASU RB Skattebo sued by former teammate … Arizona State RB Cam Skattebo, who had a breakout year this past season and is currently preparing for the upcoming draft, has been added to a lawsuit filed by a former ASU teammate over a pre-season accident two years ago. The facts don’t appear to be in dispute. Skattebo jumped on the back 0f a golf cart alreday carrying two other Arizona State players at the school’s practice field in the summer of 2023. As a result, that golf cart collapsed and one of the player’s suffered a serious cut on their arm. What makes the whole case a little suspicious is that Skattebo was actually only added to the suit, which was originally filed against only the university, once he became famous. And what gives it a bit of a sitcom feel is that the injured player’s lawyers have been unable to find Skattebo to serve him with the papers. Bottom line is that Skattebo will no doubt be asked about the issue interviews with teams, but it does not seem to be the kind of thing that is going to impact his grade.
