First-round projection updated … With the college football regular season in the books it seemed like it might be a good time to update our first-round projection for the 2025 draft. As we have noted in the past, the goal here isn’t so much to try and predict which team will select which player, but to give some sense of what players would likely be available at different points in the draft based on what we know today. And in that context just to give folks an idea of which players would still be on the board in that scenario we played with the first 10 or so picks of the second round which might look something like the following: #33. NY Giants: DE Jordan Burch, Oregon; #34. Las Vegas: WR Jalen Royals, Utah State; #35. Chicago (from Carolina): DT Walter Nolen, Mississippi; #36. Jacksonville: OG Tyler Booker, Alabama; #37 Tennessee: CB Jahdae Barron, Texas; #38. NY Jets: S Nick Emmanwori, South Carolina; #39. Cleveland: WR Tre Harris, Mississippi; #40. Chicago: DE JT Tuimoloau, Ohio State; #41. Cincinnati: DE Donovan Ezerauku, Boston College; #42. Dallas: LB Jihaad Campbell, Alabama; #43. New Orleans: CB Tacario Davis, Arizona.
