New 3-round projection … We weren’t planning on posting any new mock drafts until perhaps just before the draft, but with the lack of any kind of buzz surrounding the upcoming draft, we thought we’d throw one out there just to spice things up a little. We only do so with the proviso that people remember – and genuinely take to heart – what we posted back in mid-March about what mock drafts can do and what they don’t do. Bottom line is that no mock drafts, even the very best ones, are going to tell you with any greater accuracy than that of the proverbial blind squirrel who finds an acorn every once in a while, is what specific player a specific team is going to take at any particular spot in the draft. Yet that is exactly how most people read them; indeed, we get the sense that the vast majority of mock readers treat them almost like a mini-draft in themselves. What a good mock draft can do, though, is give readers some idea what players are likely to be available at the different spots in the various rounds. That said, here is the updated GBN 3-round round mock.
