Pro day sched underway … The annual pro day schedule is now comfortably underway. In fact, Ball State, which is of course just down the road from Indianapolis where the scouting combine was held last week, held its pro day on Monday, while Indiana went on Tuesday and Northwestern on Wednesday, while scouts will be back in Indiana on Thursday at the Purdue workout. However, the pro day circuit doesn’t really heat up until next week. And the really key dates on the pro day calendar don’t come up until later in the month. March 20th for example is a monster day with workouts at Southern Cal, Ohio State, Alabama, and Texas while on the 27th the Big XII conference mini-combine gets underway, while there will be individual workouts at LSU, Tennessee and Mississippi. Then on the next day (the 28th) two of the top QBs in the 2024 draft – North Carolina’s Drake Maye and Michael Penix of Washington are expected to be the headliners at their respective school’s pro days. For the record, here is the pro day schedule as we have it, although we would also very much appreciate it if anyone knows of other pro days we have not included would let us know.
