Pitt RB with cancer

December 4, 2015

Pitt RB Connor hit with cancer diagnosis … Pittsburgh junior RB James Connor, who had already missed the 2015 season with a torn ACL, has been diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkin’s lymphoma in his neck and chest and will begin a 6-month regimen of treatment early next week. Needless to say that will put off any plans Connor might still have had to enter the 2016 draft, however, he could still play football down the road as this is the same condition that sidelined Kansas City FS Eric Berry for a year, but he’s back playing.
