Pitt DT Twyman opts out … Speaking of players opting out, Pittsburgh junior DT Jaylen Twyman has become the latest underclassmen to indicate they will be sitting out the upcoming college football season to concentrate on preparing for the 2021 draft. The 6-2, 290-pound Twyman, who is considered to be a late first or early second round candidate for next spring’s draft, had a breakout year last fall when he had 10.5 sacks and was named to several All-America teams. Twyman is the 7th underclassman to have indicated that he’ll be sitting out the upcoming year to prepare for the draft.
