Emerging Sooners junior CB in more hot water … Rising Oklahoma junior CB Jordan Thomas was arrested early Thursday morning on charges of assault and battery, public intoxication and interference. The 5-11, 190-pound Thomas is considered to be a top 100 prospect for either the 2017 or 2018 drafts after he lead the Sooners with 5 picks last fall. However, this was not Thomas’ first brush with off-field troubles. He was suspended for the first quarter of the 2015 season opener, as well as all of a later game last fall for undisclosed disciplinary reasons and then was jailed before last year’s Orange Bowl after failing to appear in court following a traffic citation.
