OSU OT Simmons confirms draft entry despite injury … Ohio State OT Josh Simmons, a 4th year junior with a year of eligibility remaining announced this morning that he will be entering the upcoming draft despite the fact that he missed the second half of the current season after tearing an ACL in the Buckeyes’ loss at Oregon. Prior to the injury Simmons had been considered a mid-to-late first round prospect. However, while Simmons reports that he is ahead of schedule in his rehab, it still seems unlikely that he’ll be able to work out prior to the draft. Simmons, who spent two seasons at San Diego State before transferring to Ohio State last year is 6-5, 310 with what has been described as freakish athletic ability at least for an OT.
