OSU LT; SMU TE out for season … A couple of more top prospects for the upcoming draft will both miss the rest of the season with knee injuries. Ohio State has confirmed, for example, that rising LT Josh Simmons is done for the year because of an injury he suffered two weeks ago at Oregon. Simmons was considered to be one of the top 4-5 prospects at the position for 2025 with late first-round potential. At the same time, Southern Methodist has announced that TE RJ Maryland, who leads the team in receiving and is also a rising prospect, will also miss the rest of the campaign with a potentially serious knee injury that includes a torn ACL as well as other possible ligament damage.
