One top exec out in Miami, another in … Miami has reportedly ‘parted ways’ with senior personnel executive Champ Kelly who actually filled in as the team’s interim GM earlier this year after Chris Grier was fired in October. Kelly, who started his NFL personnel career as a regional college scout for Denver in 2007 came to Miami in 2022 after a a stint in Chicago where he was director of pro scouting. The Dolphins also reportedly didn’t wait long to fill Kelly’s position as they have reportedly hiring former Jacksonville senior personnel executive Josh Scobey.
