One RB in; one out

December 15, 2017

One RB in; one out … Oregon has announced that senior RB Royce Freeman will not play in Saturday’s Las Vegas Bowl matchup against Boise State as a precaution against injury. Instead, he plans to begin preparation for the 2018 draft where he is considered to be a second-day prospect. Freeman, who ran for over 1,400 yards this season, is the 6th leading career FBS rusher with over 5,600 yards. Meanwhile, prosecutors in Oklahoma have decided not to press charges against the Sooners’ redshirt sophomore RB Rodney Anderson who was accused of sexual assault by a female student. That should clear Anderson, an emerging pro prospect, to play in the Sooners’ CFP game against Georgia on New Year’s Day.
