Ole Miss WR Brown enters draft … Mississippi junior WR A.J. Brown, arguably the top receiver prospect in the 2019 draft class, has announced that he will be turning pro and entering the upcoming draft. The 6-1, 230-pound Brown led the SEC with 85 receptions for over 1,300 yards and 6 scores. Meanwhile, Notre Dame junior TE Alize Mack will also be turning pro this winter, although as a 4th year junior its not clear that he necessarily has to formally apply to the NFL for inclusion in this year’s draft class. In fact, Mack has accepted an invitation to next month’s Senior Bowl in Mobile. Mack came to Notre Dame as a heralded recruit, but never really lived up to expectations; this year, for example, Mack had only 34 receptions for 350 yards and 3 TDs, but at 6-4, 250 and with decent speed still could attract some late second or early third day interest this coming April.
