Ole Miss QB Corral ‘questionable’

Ole Miss QB Corral ‘questionable’… According to the program, Mississippi QB Matt Corral, the consensus leader in the race for the Heisman Trophy, as well as arguably the top prospect at the position for the 2022 draft, is ‘questionable’ for this Saturday’s game against LSU. Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin, for example, described Corral as ‘not being in very good shape’ after he carried the ball a remarkable 30-times for 195 yards in Saturday’s win at Tennessee. Corral, who is one of the best passer passers in college football, is an athletic player who does run a lot as he had averaged around 12 carries per game heading into the Tennessee game. For its part, LSU isn’t buying any of it. College teams do not have to report injuries as do their counterparts in the NFL and they think Ole Miss is just playing some pre-game mind games and are fully expecting Corral to be in uniform. We will certainly find out for sure around 3:30 PM ET when Ole Miss and LSU kick-off on CBS’s SEC national game of the week.
