Ohio State

March 22, 2018

There was what may have been the biggest crowd of the year on hand at the Ohio State pro day where there over 140 NFL coaches, scouts and assorted senior personnel execs including 6 G.M.s and 6 more head coaches. On the field, former Buckeyes’ DEs Sam Hubbard and Tyquan Lewis both ran for NFL teams after not running at the combine. According to unofficial times, Lewis ran reasonably well with a 40 clocking in the 4.7 range, whereas Hubbard’s time can best be described as disappointing after he reportedly clocked in the 4.9 range. At the same time, SS Damon Webb had a 4.58 40 time, while DT Tracy Sprinkle had a good (for a DT not invited to the combine) time of 5.07.
