NFL OKs draft war rooms

March 12, 2021

NFL OKs draft war rooms … The NFL has reportedly told teams that they will be allowed to operate out of their respective draft war rooms this coming April. Recall that last year, the entire draft was virtual with each team’s personnel executives and coaches working out of their own homes. However, it won’t be quite business as usual as teams must still follow strict physical-distancing protocols and wear masks in their rooms. There will also be no eating or drinking allowed in the draft rooms. Every team must submit a plan for its 2021 draft operations to the league office by March 26th. On the other hand, it still seems unlikely that fans will be permitted to attend this year’s draft in Cleveland. It also still isn’t clear whether players will be allowed on site. Stay tuned.
