MTSU WR enters draft; ‘Neers WR stays home … Middle Tennessee junior WR Richie James announced earlier today that he will forego his final year of eligibility and enter the 2018 draft. James is somewhat undersized at barely 5-9, 180, but he has explosive speed and quickness. James also played in just 5 games this year because of a sprained ankle and then a collarbone suggesting that durability could be an issue. James is considered to be a late round or possible free agent prospect for the upcoming draft, but he has the potential to moveup if he tests well at pre-draft testing and checks out medically. Meanwhile, West Virginia junior WR David Sills has announced that he will return to school for his senior campaign next fall. Sills, the one-time prep QB phenom who originally committed to Southern Cal when he was in the 7th grade, was a Biletnikoff finalist this fall when he caught 60 passes including 18 for TDs.
