‘Mr Irrelevant’ passes … Little bit of sad news from the draft world via our long-time friend and colleague in the business Frank Coyle, editor of the Draft Insiders’ Digest. Paul Salata, the originator of the ‘Mr. Irrelevant’ award given annually to the final player selected in each year, passed away over the weekend. He was 94 and had been in declining health in recent years.
