Michigan State pro day

March 24, 2021

All 32 teams were represented at the Michigan State pro day, but they probably didn’t see a whole lot to get excited about. At least DT Naquon Jones, one of two former Spartans who were invited to the combine, at least has prototype size. Jones measured in at 6-3.5, 313 with 33-inch arms, but only ran the 40 in around 5.45 seconds, although his short shuttle time of 4.80 wasn’t all that bad for a DT that size. On the other hand, CB Shakur Brown, the other MSU combine invitee isn’t all that big or fast. Brown measured in at 5-9.5 with 30-inch arms and ran the 40 in the 4.65 range. Same story for LB Antjuan Simmons who measured in at 5-11.5, 218 and ran the 40 in 4.85 seconds.
