Michigan DT Hurst cleared to resume football activity … Just in time, Michigan DT Maurice Hurst, who had been considered to be a potential first round prospect for the upcoming draft, has been cleared to return to football activities by team doctors. Hurst was sent home from the combine when an EKG detected an irregular heart beat. And its just in time for Hurst who reportedly will work out at the Michigan pro day tomorrow. However, whether this whole incident will hurt Hurst’s draft chances remains to be seen, although it is almost assured that he will be called back to Indianapolis early next month for the medical re-checks.
