Miami (OH) WR enters draft; FSU CB stays put … Miami (Ohio) WR James Gardner is the latest player to confirm that they will be entering the 2019 draft with college eligibility still on the table. Gardner was a senior this fall, but missed all but three games with an undisclosed injury; because he had never redshirted Gardner could have returned for a 5th year next fall, but instead opted to turn pro. At 6-3, 220, Gardner has NFL size and length; he’s also been a very productive big-play receiver in the MAC, there are questions about his speed and quickness such that he is not considered at this time to be more than a late round or free agent prospect. Meanwhile, Florida State junior CB Levonta Taylor, who had been rated among the top ten CBs on the GBN positional list, has announced that he will be returning to school for his senior campaign next fall.
