Monday bowl preview … Since New Year’s Day fell on an NFL Sunday, New Year’s Day Plus one will be the day for the big bowl games, or at least the big bowl games that don’t really matter. Whatever, there are 4 bowls later today including a pretty good one in the Rose Bowl between Penn State and Southern Cal to wrap up the bowl schedule with the exception of next week’s CFL national championship game.
