Iggles, Jints sign top pick WR

June 3, 2021

Iggles, Jints sign top pick WR … It was a busy day in the NFC East where division rivals Philadelphia and the Giants both signed their opening round picks from the 2021 draft. The Eagles came to terms with former Alabama WR DeVonta Smith on a 4-year, $20.1M deal, while the Giants signed former Florida WR Kadarius Toney to a 4-year contract worth $13.7M. Philadelphia, of course, traded up two spots with Dallas in order to get Smith ahead of the Giants in this year’s first round. Having lost out on Smith, the Giants then traded down with Chicago and took former Toney with the 20th pick overall, in the process acquiring the Bears’ #1 pick next year.
