Husker S to miss bowl … Nebraska S Nate Gerry, a 3rd team All-American this season and the #17 rated player at the position in the GBN positional rankings, will miss the Huskers’ date with Tennessee in the Music City Bowl because of academic issues. While he’ll miss the team’s bowl, Gerry has accepted an invite to play in the Senior Bowl in Mobile in January.
