Unfortunately, it has been a while since Grambling was a major player at the draft. Indeed, the program has had only 4 players selected since the turn of the century including just one in the past 13 years. However, GSU does have a chance to get on the board next month as C/G David Moore, who was a revelation at the Senior Bowl earlier this year, is a decent late-round free agent type prospect. Moore is a bit squat at 6-1, 330, although he has relatively long 34-inch arms. He’s also strong having posted 31 reps in the bench press. Moore also moved better than expected as he clocked under 5.20 (5.17) in the 40, had a 28-inch vertical and posted times of 4.87 seconds in the short shuttle and 8.01 in the 3-cone drill, all of which would have been middle-of-the-pack figures at the 2020 combine.
