Giants sign 2 of 3 top picks; Pigskin reviews their draft … The New York Giants have announced over the weekend that they have officially signed DT Dexter Lawrence and CB Deandre Baker, two of their three first-round draft picks at the 2019 draft. Lawrence, from Clemson, was the 17th overall selection this year, while Baker, the former Georgia Bullog, was taken with the 30th overall selection. That means that the Giants have now come to terms with 8 of their ten picks from last April’s draft with former Duke QB Daniel Jones, their other first round pick this year, and OLB Oshane Ximines, a third round selection. It also means that currently 24 of the 32 players taken in this year’s opening round have now been signed. Meanwhile, GBN Associate Editor Pigskin Paul Guillemette has taken a long look at the Giants’ somewhat controversial picks at this year’s draft as part of his annual review of every teams draft.
