Giants hire rising Texans scouting exec … The NY Giants have reportedly hired Houston co-director of college scouting John Ritcher for a similar role and in their personnel department. Ritcher, who had been with the Texans for 8 years, worked previously with Giants’ general manager Joe Schoen when they both worked in Miami. With the Giants, Ritcher will likely replace former director of college scouting Chris Petit who left to join the Michigan athletic department in late March.
