First 3 rounds set; Jags, Jets, Phins lead premium picks … Now that the NFL has finally announced this year’s compensatory picks, barring further trades, the selection order for the first three rounds of the 2021 draft is now set. Interestingly, the three teams with the first three picks this year, also have the most first and second day selections with 5 each. At the same time, Cleveland, Dallas, Detroit, New Orleans, Philadelphia, Tennessee, Washington and the LA Chargers have four each. Meanwhile at the other end of the draft spectrum, Seattle and Houston have just one pick each, while Indianapolis has two. Because there are so many trades in the remaining four rounds we won’t know the exact selection order for rounds 4-7 until the NFL releases the official version of the 2021 selection order.
