Final wrap

By | May 1, 2021

That’s a wrap; THE end, finish!! … The 2021 draft came to a fitting close at 6:52 PM ET this evening when the Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers selected former Houston LB Grant Stuard with the 259th and final pick of the draft. Of course, that makes him ‘Mr. Irrelevant’ for the year. And while the actual draft is in the books, there won’t be much rest for NFL personnel people, though, as teams are already calling around looking to sign the top undrafted prospects that weren’t selected this weekend. And there are still a lot of really talented prospects on the board including QBs Jamie Newman, Shane Buechele, Peyton Ramsey, Feleipe Franks and KJ Costello; RBs Javian Hawkins, Jaret Patterson, and Pooka Williams; WRs Tamorrion Terry, Trevon Grimes, Josh Imatorbhebhe, Austin Watkins, and Sage Surratt; TEs Kenny Yeboah, Miller Forristall. Matt Bushman, Tony Poljan and Nick Eubanks; OTs Alaric Jackson, Drew Himmelman, Foster Sarell, Adrian Ealy and Carson Green; OGs Tommy Kraemer and Sadarius Hutcherson; C Drake Jackson; DEs Ray Johnson, Malik Herring, and JaQuon Bailey; DTs Marvin Wilson and Darius Stills; ILBs Dylan Moses, Paddy Fisher and Tuf Borland; OLBs Hamilcar Rashed, Riley Cole, Charles Snowden and Justin Hilliard; CB DJ Daniel; Safeties Christian Uphoff, Paris Ford and Ar’Darius Washington; Ps Drue Chrisman and James Smith; and PK Jose Borregales, who are among the prospects at the top of the updated GBN Big Board ranking of the top remaining players. See you next year!!
