FA signings could impact top ten picks … There have been a lot of free agent signings around the NFL since the new football year kicked off earlier this week, although until this weekend none appeared likely to have much impact on the early picks at the 2021 draft which is now just 39 days away. That may have changed, though, somewhat in the past 24 hours or so when Denver signed CB Kyle Fuller literally minutes after he was released by Chicago, while the Giants locked up former Detroit WR Kenny Golladay with a 4Y, $72M free agent deal. Both the Broncos and Giants were thought to be targeting those positions with the 9th and 11th picks respectively, although it is still very possible that either or both still look to upgrade at those positions with their top picks. Fuller is only signed for one year, while the Giants would probably still like to add another weapon or two for young QB Daniel Jones. At the same time, though, there have been some rumblings of late that Denver would also like to take a QB at #9 if at least one of the top 4-5 prospects at the position was still on the board when the Broncos got on the clock. Stay tuned!
