ER Ossai, OT Cosmi, S Sterns shine at ‘Horns’ pro day … While much of the national focus was on the Clemson pro day, a number of former Texas Longhorns excelled at their on-campus workout across the country. DE/ER Joseph Ossai, for example, had a very good day. He measured in at 6-3.5 and 256 pounds, Ossai was reportedly timed in 4.63 seconds for the 40, while posting very athletic leaps of 41.5 inches in the vertical and 10-11 in the LJ. OT Sam Cosmi also impressed with a 40-clocking in the mid-4.8 range along with 36 reps in the BP. Safety Caden Sterns also turned some heads with what was reported as a 4.40 40 clocking and a very athletic 42-inch vertical. Sterns also had a quick 4.16 time in the 3-cone drill, although his 14 reps in the BP was subpar for a safety. DT Ta’Quon Graham, who is on this year’s combine invite list, reportedly ran the 40 in around 4.95 seconds and had 32 reps in the BP, while WR Brennan Eagles, another combine invite, ran a 4.55 40 and had a 36″ vertical. Fellow WR Tarik Black, though, was even slightly more athletic posting a 4.53 40-time, a 40-inch vertical and 10-11 long jump. SS Chris Brown had a decent 40-time of 4.53 seconds.
