Ducks QB Herbert back at practice

November 1, 2018

Ducks QB Herbert back at practice … Oregon junior QB Justin Herbert, currently the top-rated passer for the upcoming draft, returned to practice yesterday and appears to on track to start this weekend when the Ducks host UCLA in the return of former head coach Chip Kelly who is now running the Bruins. Herbert had been in concussion protocol earlier this week after he took a big hit on a scramble in the final few minutes of the Ducks’ loss at Arizona last Saturday evening. While he appears to still be the #1 QB prospect on most teams draft boards around the NFL, Herbert has struggled the past three weeks and needs a big game to re-establish heading into the final month of the season.
